Advice please on getting a spare wheel for my MG ZS EV
I got to pick up my MG ZS EV in February and have really enjoyed driving it. That was until we were hit by lock down for coronavirus since when it has sat idle, but that's another story.
When I ordered my MG I was rather caught up in the thought of buying my first electric vehicle didn't think to ask if it came with a spare wheel. Now I have it I find it does not, instead having a bottle of tyre sealant and a 12 volt tyre inflator.
I have never had a car with no spare wheel in the boot before and am nervous of relying on the emergency inflation kit. Am I being paranoid? Would it be worth me getting a spare wheel, it looks like there is space for it under the floor in the boot. If I buy a spare where do I get it from, do I go back to the MG dealership I bought the car from or is there somewhere better?
Looking on Ebay there are a couple of different options listed. There is what looks like an original part complete with foam insert to hold the car jack and wheel brace. The other is a Road Hero alloy space saver spare wheel and tyre which also comes with jack, brace and other bits and pieces.
